ZENTANGLE AN OBJECT
ZENTANGLE, WHAT IS IT?
Zentagle means ZEN (meditation) + TANGLE (knot, confusion, mess)
Zentangle art is a great way to start out now because (1) it's nearly
impossible to mess them up and they can be confidence boosters and (2)
it's a good way for me to assess what you already know about
the elements and principles and (3) you need something to calm you down in those moments of stress (previous to the exams).

CHRISTMAS ACTIVITY: "ZENTANGLE PRESENT"
Christmas are around the corner, and I heard the other day on the radio
that these holidays are not as benefitial for us as we might think. They
cause a lot of stress... Well I guess part of that stress is the
getting everything ready and the buying of the presents. So I suggest
for this Christmas:
LESS CONSUMERISM MORE CREATIVITY PLEASE.
For this activity you will choose an object, I suggested a plain white mug in class (2 € or less in any Chinese shop) and permanent markers (different thikness and colours if you want). Let's zentangle an object! If you prefer to do someother creation (like a manga drawing or a Christmas decoration or a visual poem), feel free to do it, but make sure you sign your creation and take a picture before giving it as a present. You will print the photo and paste it in your notebook (Activities). If you have difficulties printing it you can send me the photo via email, please attach a comment describing the process and your evaluation of the activity.

You will take a few pictures and select a minimum of 3 photos that best describe this Christmas Holidays for you. You can publish them in your art blog or in your art journal. Do not forget to attach a description and explanation of your selection. Here is a video by Steve McCurry, that will give you excellent tips.
